Yaëlle and Bastien grow the full range of vegetables possible at an altitude of 900 metres and in a mountain climate. Their credo: to create an oasis of diversity while allowing the soil to regenerate, the insects to frolic and us to feel happy!

Potag'Oex was created in 2020. After losing her job in early 2020, Yaëlle Maye decided to bounce back: she was going to grow vegetables. The planets aligned, and she found a piece of farmland in Moulins that had been used for years by the Tille family, who favoured organic techniques. Bastien Rossier quickly joined the adventure.

The two co-founders, who felt it was time to change the way we consume and therefore grow food, naturally signed up to the Bio Suisse label. They set up a Saturday morning market right here in Chamaveau. You can find their seasonal vegetables, supplemented by other Swiss and organic vegetables, as well as fruit and products they have prepared themselves from time to time.

The roles are divided up as follows: Yaëlle, with her CFC in agriculture and horticulture, is in charge of the crops, vegetables and aromatic plants. Bastien takes care of the administration and helps with the crops. Friends, volunteers and other workers who come for exchanges help them with their project. Chickens and bees have also recently arrived to help with the crops.

An online shop sells herbal teas and condiments, and a small self-service area sells vegetables and other produce.
